The next generation of professional volleyball stars has arrived, as 2022 SynergyForce Alumna Mimi Colyer led a group of 32 standout players selected in the 2025 Major League Volleyball Draft. Colyer is the No. 1 overall pick in the Major League Volleyball draft. The milestone marks the first player ever drafted by the PULSE as the team continues building its inaugural roster ahead of the 2026 season.

Senior Mimi Colyer has had a prolific 2025 season for the Wisconsin Badgers so far. Through 26 matches this season, Colyer has averaged 5.37 kills per set, 5.97 points per set, 2.13 digs per set, and has chipped in with 0.70 blocks per set. The three-time All-American has tallied double-figure kills in every match but one, and nine matches of 20 or more kills in 2025. Colyer has also garnered four Big Ten Player of the Week awards and AVCA Player of the Week her senior season. Colyer is currently at 13 consecutive matches with double-figure kills. The California native is on pace to break numerous other single-season program records once the season wraps.

“Scoring points, as we all know, is incredibly important, and so (Colyer) was a natural fit and a natural person to be our selection at No. 1,” said Raskin, Dallas’ CEO and owner.  Known for her explosive offense, strong passing, and elite court vision, Colyer will play a central role as the PULSE prepare for their first season beginning January 10 at Comerica Center in Frisco.
